Welcome to Victim Support Switzerland

We provide support that is free, confidential and anonymous – all over Switzerland

Victim support services can be accessed throughout Switzerland by calling 142

As of 1 May 2026, victim support services throughout Switzerland are accessible by calling the national hotline 142. People who have experienced physical, psychological or sexual violence can call this number for help and advice.

Victim Support Switzerland services are available to anyone who has suffered direct harm to their physical, psychological or sexual integrity as the result of a criminal act in Switzerland. The service is free of charge and anonymous. It is aimed not only at victims who are seeking guidance or support in dealing with a violent situation, but also at their family members and close friends.

The 142 Victim Support Switzerland hotline is not an emergency number. In dangerous situations, please continue to contact the police or rescue services using the existing emergency channels.
